Born and brought up in Switzerland, but with a strong sense of Celtic identity from my ancestry, I got a taste for travel and adventure while volunteering for an environmental protection project on a remote Fijian island. This voyage was rich in adventures such as life within a tribal society, the rescue of a shipwrecked sailor, the uncovering of a wildlife smuggler, jumping into the sea to save a sperm whale from a shark trap and diving in pristine locations.
After this incredible experience, I knew I wanted to continue capturing the wonders of nature and the diversity of populations across the world. My education in video production and geography propelled me into a life at sea working onboard a privately owned residential yacht, for the last eight years. The oceans and my sea legs have transported me across the globe and have provided me with its fare share of exciting and also frightening adventures!
Hiking up active volcanoes, participating in a new world record, diving with sharks, zodiac driving around Antarctic icebergs, piloting UAVs in the Namibian desert, dancing in sacred ceremonies with remote tribes or simply enjoying a nice dinner by a fire in the Outback... I travel to experience and document the beauty of our world.
I am passionate about photography and videography nevertheless successful creative projects also rely on excellent organizational skills. Therefore throughout my career, I also developed skills in event management, logistics and technical operations in stage and video productions.
New projects are a source of excitement and always approached with a smile, which has proven to be very successful in the sectors of hospitality and public relations. Indeed, my work has seen me collaborating with the rich and famous, remote populations and tribal chiefs but also with organizations fighting for human rights, cultural developments and nature protection.
There are always stories to tell and I wish to transfer these through my visual work to promote the acceptance of the world’s diversity of cultures and to encourage the protection of our beautiful planet.
